Soul Care Intensives
Are you seeking a more intensive and focused approach to therapy? Lisa, a licensed therapist with specialized training in trauma and attachment therapies such as EMDR and Internal Family Systems, is here to help. With several years of experience in private practice, she understands the benefits of weekly therapy but also recognizes the value of a therapeutic intensive. During your intensive, you will meet with Lisa for 3.5-4 hours per day over the course of 4 days in a confidential and comfortable setting. In the afternoons and evenings, you will have time for reflection, rest, and rejuvenation. This intensive is ideal for individuals seeking to explore topics such as trauma, attachment, or different parts of the self. If you have previously tried weekly therapy or are looking for a breakthrough in stuck places, a soul care intensive with Lisa may be the solution. Before securing a slot, Lisa will schedule a Zoom call with you to determine if an intensive is right for you and if she is the best fit for your needs.
Cost for a Soul Care Intensive:
$4800. Most organizations will scholarship some or all of a soul care intensive.
Discounted rate: $4000 If you are a non profit or paying out of pocket.

Capable Life Intensives
Experience profound personal and professional growth with Steve’s 4-day intensive. Designed for individuals or teams, this intensive will introduce you to the powerful tools of Capable Life, including verbatims and genograms. Spend each day learning and applying these tools with Steve, and connect with a Capable Life coach along the way. For some, this intensive will serve as the kick-off to an ongoing zoom cohort. Along with plenty of rest and rejuvenation, enjoy long, slow lunches and dinners hosted by Steve.
During the intensive, we’ll focus on two main areas: your own well-being and your family of origin assets and liabilities. Explore specific anxiety generators and core beliefs, work on a Life Giving List, and learn about Differentiation of Self. Prepare a genogram before you arrive and present it to your peer group, and listen as three others share theirs. We’ll also delve into childhood vows that may be holding you back.
Custom intensives are available for groups with specific interests and focus areas. Otherwise, Steve will teach the core tools of Capable Life to help you bring positive changes back to your work and home environments. Don’t miss this transformative opportunity.

The primary difference between the two intensives:
A Soul Care Intensive is therapeutic in nature and is an individual experience designed for you to work on your own deeper challenges. In it you are under the care of a licensed therapist.
A Capable Life Intensive focusing on equipping you with core tools to lower anxiety in you and your people and is a community experience. In it, you are under the care of a pastor who teaches Systems Theory, but it never crosses into therapy.
Intensives can be a significant investment of time and money and if you would like to explore one, we encourage you to ask your organization to sponsor you or offset the cost. You are worth the investment.

All intensives are held in the northern suburbs of Denver in either Broomfield, CO or Lafayette, CO. You can stay anywhere between Westminster and Boulder, CO and be 10 minutes to 25 minutes away. If you want to extend your stay or even pop up to the mountains, Estes Park is 75 mins away. Evergreen is 60 minutes away. We are happy to suggest accommodation based on how you enjoy spending your down time and your budget.
