Cracking the Hidden Obstacles to Spiritual Freedom

I was startled to discover that while my belief in God is my most precious belief it is not my deepest belief. Underneath my faith in God lies a whole bevy of beliefs and assumptions that keep me locked and blocked. I kept running into the same thinking patterns. I struggled to experience the love, peace and freedom of God that I believed in. The key was digging into some of my core, subconscious beliefs that were keeping me trapped.

Unlocking Faith is all about paying attention to beliefs, thinking patterns, The Story You Tell Yourself and how your life’s events are blocking a deeper experience with God’s peace, freedom and love.

Each speaker at the Unlocking Faith conference has specific training. You will hear about parts of self, trauma, enneagram wiring, and chronic anxiety. We will teach you how to notice thinking and reactive patterns, how to measure your beliefs and bring them to the surface so you can sift them through your most precious belief.

The outcome is more peace, more freedom, more love and we think the path to that is to unlock some core beliefs we hold that we may not even know we hold. Or maybe we know, but we feel stuck in them. Come to Unlocking Faith to get the keys to God’s freedom peace and love.

Steve is a pastor, speaker and author of Managing Leadership Anxiety: Yours and Theirs and the upcoming book Minding The Gap: Between Our Belief About God and Experience From God. Steve enjoys helping people improve their most precious relationships by focusing on triggers, assumptions and stuck patterns inside people and between people. He also enjoys writing books with long subtitles. Steve’s recent research is in the field of how our own assumptions and triggers get in the way of connecting with God. He has served in various ministries over the years: crisis intervention in Las Vegas, lead pastoring in Colorado and trauma chaplaincy in Tennessee. Steve enjoys time with his wife Lisa, their three kids and his dog who is always on the hunt for another ear rub.

Core to all of it is the practice of relationally-oriented, trauma-informed soul care which invites people to name the patterns of disorientation, division, and disconnection within them and to journey into wholeheartedness.
